How to Use Your Backstory
A good backstory gives your DM hooks to work with — specific people, places, and events your character cares about. Share the generated backstory with your GM before your first session. Point to 2–3 elements you'd like them to bring into the campaign. The best backstories are ones that create problems for your character, not just achievements.
